“It's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice... or take a stand... or turn around and go back. These are the stories and characters of today, the Songs for a New World. The first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Bridges of Madison County), this moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love and the choices that we make. This contemporary song cycle weaves characters and history together, illuminating the timelessness of self-discovery.” - mtishows.com
Join the powerhouse cast of Our Productions and YATP alumni actors, vocalists, dancers, artists, and students, we join together to bring this epic musical journey to life. Our Productions Theatre Co. will take Jason Robert Brown’s stellar score and show, from this 1994 production with a cult following, and show how the music and lyrics are highly relevant to life in 2026. Songs for a New World will hold a mirror to current events, and instill hope that with the love of our community, compassion and kindness towards each other, we can have a beautiful future.

Young Artist Training Program
A huge component of the future of the performing arts is education of young actors, technicians, producers, choreographers and directors. Our educational program is truly one of a kind, a purposefully small program offering direct professional mentorships for our students and a robust tuition assistance program that ensures qualified students can attend. After all, they are the future of the performing arts.
Our renowned musical theatre conservatory, The Young Artist Training Program (YATP), is an audition based student group of talented artists seriously studying the performing arts. The program runs for the entire school year from August to May with selected students being mentored by experienced & talented professionals. We do not offer rolling enrollment. The next opportunity to audition for the 2026-2027 year conservatory and college prep program will be in the 2026 Summer Camp, May 26-29, 2026. Make sure to click 'Contact' to subscribe to our E-News so we can email you directly if you would like to audition.
