“Remarkably, a fine cast at Our Productions Theatre Co. ... brings something fresh to the equation."

The Dallas Morning News

“Our Productions executes the simultaneous complexity and insanity ... with mad ebullience that leaves the audience in stitches.”

Theater Jones

We are a non-profit, IRS recognized 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, whose mission is to develop cultural growth in North Texas. Our Productions Theatre Co. (a d.b.a. of Expressions Performing Arts/Theatre FMPAT) challenges audiences through presentation of new, diverse, and classic theatrical productions for both adults and children; raising awareness of important issues through performance; fostering the educational development of future artists (Young Artist Training Program); and preserving the heritage of live theatrical performance for both current and future generations.

Our History:

Established in 1993, we were the first  professional theatre company in Denton County to use Actors' Equity Association contracts and the premiere Musical Theatre Training Program. From producing theatre in the most interesting of places from Samuel Lusk Amphitheatre in Flower Mound, to the Barn Door Theatre, to our own space in Parker Square, to Vista Ridge Amphiteheatre in Lewisville, to Addison Theatre Center, and the Irving Arts Center, Our Productions needed a more permanent home base. In 2011 Our Productions became a resident company at the beautiful Lewisville Grand located at 100 North Charles Street in Lewisville to be our Denton County base. In 2015 Our Productions expanded to produce project based works in Dallas County on a project by project basis.

Staying true to our mission and founding direction with an empasis of education and the development of the next generation of artists, in 2017 we began our Adult Education Series through our Play Readers Club, Play Writers Club and Adult Musical Theatre Workshop offerings. We also offer free and discounted tickets and tuition assistance to our programs to ensure the arts remain accessible for all. Our Young Artist Training Program offers musicals and concerts that blend professionals with developing talent, and provides educational opportunities for youth to adults from conservatory level to community engagement.

We reaffirm our committment to providing an inclusive, safe space that is welcoming for all. We have a zero tolerance policy for bullying or harassment of any kind.

Take the leap into your future performing arts adventure with us! Join us in the audience, on stage, as a volunteer, or in a class to broaden & enrich your own arts journey.
