Meet The Cast
Annabelle is so excited to be joing the YATP family as a first year student. She has been in Annie (Annie), Dirt (Gary Ray), and she has been dancing for eleven years. She was on the Dallas Cowboys Dancing Team for one season. She's very thankful for being a part of the YATP family. She thanks her family for supporting her throughout her career. She aspires to be a movie star one day.
Arhaan is a 3rd year YATP student and a middle school student at Greenhill School in Dallas. Previous credits include Your're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Schroeder), The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Chiron) with YATP, Gypsy (Little Rock/Angie) with MainStage Irving-Las Colinas, and Elf Jr. (Walter Hobbs) and Seussical (Horton) with Greenhill School. Arhaan would like to thank his family for their support.
Axel is thrilled to be in his 2nd year at YATP! He is a 6th grader at St. Mark’s School of Texas and a theatre major at Interlochen Center for the Arts' Camp (IAC). Favorite credits: Our Productions Theatre Co.’s You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Schroeder), Garland Summer Musicals’ The Music Man (Children's Ensemble), Interlochen Center for the Arts Peter/Wendy (Smee/Mr.Darling) and The Boy at the Edge of Everything (The Boy/Colin Gillespie), and University of Texas at Dallas's Newsies (Les). He would like to thank his family for being his biggest supporters and his directors for giving him this amazing opportunity. He sends love to his YATP family!
Cate is ecstatic to be joining YATP as a first year student. She is a seventh grader in middle school. Her recent credits include Sister Act Jr. (Nun Ensemble), The Addams Family (Crew), The Wizard of Oz (Munchkin), and Annie (Mrs. Pugh). She loves reading, singing, writing,and, or course, acting. She would like to thank her parents and family for all the sacrfices they've made for her. She sends love to her YATP family and her regular family.
Drew is currently in their fourth year with the Young Artist Training Program. Some of their past favorite credits are Much Ado About Nothing (Hero, Assistant Director 2), Chess (Ensemble, Svetlana U/S, ASM), Noises Off (ASM, Poppy U/S), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy), and The Lightgning Thief (Katie, Charon, The Oracle). They have been acting since they were 6 years old and are so happy to have found a home at YATP. They'd like to thank their family (including their dog, Watson, who's a very good boy) for all their support and their wonderful YATP directors and classmates.
Izzy is coming into YATP as a first year and is happy to be apart of the YATP familiy. Her most recent credit is High School Musical, Jr. (Theater Kid Ensemble) at Parish Episcopal School in Dallas. She loves to read, bake, and cuddle with her astounding dogs Dot and Dash. She thanks her parents and brothers for all the sacrifices they have made for her. She works towards to being an amazing singer, actor, and overall perfomer. She is so excited to participate in these wonderful experiences.
Kira is a first year YATP student who enjoys bringing stories to life on and off stage. She is currently appearing in Ebenezer Scrooge (Martha Cratchit) at Pocket Sandwich Theater, and was recently seen in Night Of The Living Dead (Radio Newscaster), in School Of Rock (Sophie) at Grand Prairie Arts Council, and in Gypsy (Young Louise) at Mainstage Irving. When Kira is not performing, she enjoys singing, drawing, playing video games, and video editing for her YouTube Channel. She would like to thank her voice coach Anthony Holmes, her Mom for driving her around everywhere, and everyone else who has supported her throughout this process. She's excited to be performing and bringing these stories to life!
Kylie is a first year YATP student, and is excited to be apart of the YATP family. Previous credits include The Wizard of Oz (Flying Monkey), What Happens After Once Upon A Time? (Cinderella), Tom Sawyer (Penny), Frozen (Ensemble), and The Lion King. She thanks her family for supporting her to pursue her passion. She enjoys crocheting and she wishes to be a performer. She gives love to all of her families, both YATP and normal family.
Nadia is overjoyed to be in her 8th year with the Young Artist Training Program! She is a sophomore in high school, where she is an active member in the Coppell Cowboy Theatre Company. Recent credits include You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown) with YATP and The Music Man (Gracie Shinn) with Garland Summer Musicals. When not singing and acting, Nadia enjoys drawing, painting, and video games. She would like to thank her parents for all of their support, her YATP teachers for all their guidance, and her YATP cohorts for all the fun and friendship. Riley is thrilled to be in her second year at YATP. She has recently been in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Linus) at YATP, and The Play that goes Wrong (Ensemble) at Theater Denton. When not acting, Riley likes to play Bassoon, read, play video games, write, and watch Stephen King movies. Riley would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for shaping her into the person she is today.
Slade is in his 11th year as a YATP student and attends the Music Conservatory at Booker T. Washington HSPVA. He hopes to arrange music for video games one day. Favorite credits: You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Schroeder), Into the Woods (Jack), Project Youth (Gabe) and The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Grover). He also enjoyed performing six seasons in Ben Stevenson's The Nutcracker (Party Child) with Texas Ballet Theater at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas & Bass Hall in Fort Worth. Sophie Rose Kirkham
Sophie Rose is currently appearing in A Christmas Carol (Martha Cratchit) with Dallas Theater Center & a 9 1/2 year student at Young Artist Training Program. Favorite Credits: The Sound of Music (Brigita) DTC, The Music Man GSM, Gypsy (Baby June) MainStage, Ben Stevenson’s Cirque du Ballet, The Nutcracker Texas Ballet Theater/Winspear Opera House, Into the Woods (Little Red Ridinghood), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Snoopy/Sally) YATP, and Evita (Children’s Chorus) Lyric Stage/Majestic Theatre. Veronica is grateful to be in her 2nd YATP year. She also has the honor of being a sophomore in the Theater Collective Magnet at Richardson High School. Recent credits include Secret Life of Girls (Chandler) DCT, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Linus) YATP, Dallas Children Theater's production of Harry Connick Jr's The Happy Elf (Ensamble, u/s), Willy Wonka Jr. (Mrs. Bucket), and The Music Man (Ensemble). When not rehearsing you can find Veronica reading or listening to music. She woule like to thank her parents for acting as her chauffeers and always helping her pursue her dreams.
Production Team Bios
Stephanie Riggs (Artistic & Educational Director) holds a B. F. A. in Theatre and Television from Texas Christian University, where she received the Fine Arts Guild and Ann Bradshaw Stokes Scholarships for her work in Musical Theatre. While at TCU, Stephanie studied voice under Dr. Vincent Russo, editor or ‘The Journal of Research in Singing’ and Jan Sullivan, author of The Phenomenon of the Belt-Pop Voice. As a director & producer, she has directed both professional and youth theater productions winning critical acclaim and awards in the D-FW area. Stephanie has also twice directed the youth choir composed of her own students for the Dallas Summer Musical’s stop of the National Tour of Joseph...Dreamcoat®. An award winning and nominated actress as well, Stephanie has performed with Casa Mañana, Lyric Stage, Our Productions, PRT, Theatre Three, Uptown Players, and WaterTower Theatre. She appeared in the regional premier of multiple Tony Award winning producer, GFour Production’s touring production of Motherhood, The Musical and is a multiple time featured soloist with the Las Colinas/New Arlington/Garland Symphonies. Stephanie has also performed cabaret style entertainment regularly both with Uptown Players, Denise Lee Onstage and independently as both a solo and collaborative artist. She is an accomplished voice-over/recording artist working for companies such as Mary Kay Cosmetics, The Staubach Corp., Southwest Airlines, WRR Classical 101.1 & The Las Colinas Symphony. She is the current Educational Director and Artistic Director of Our Productions Theatre Co., a professional, nonprofit theatre & is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers.
Her alumni students and interns have appeared in or worked on several off-Broadway and Broadway productions along with many National Touring productions, appeared in locally at the Tony Award winning Dallas Theater Center, and other local professional theatre productions including Lyric Stage, WaterTower Theater, Casa Mañana & of course here, at Our Productions Theatre Co. among other area theaters. Students are also currently appearing in & working on national television series, for the Disney Co., and in both commercials and feature films. Stephanie also offers private vocal coaching/tutoring to selected YATP students simultaneously developing both the proper belt/pop placement and a classical/legit sound in addition to other musical styles and a sought after college audition coach. Her students are known for their technical skill, discipline, courteousness, and work ethic. Most alumni students that are working professionals today credit YATP with giving them a solid foundation that helped them off to a great start. Stephanie’s graduating seniors regularly gain admittance to top university programs, most attending with scholarships. Previous graduates have been accepted to NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan, AMDA, CCM, New York Film Academy, Studio School LA, CAP21, The Juilliard School, OCU, Texas State, Pepperdine, Elon, SMU, TCU, Colorado State University, Millikin University, Baylor, Pace, New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts, University of Oklahoma, American Academy of Dramatic Arts and many other outstanding collegiate programs.
Mark Mullino (Music Director) has worked extensively throughout the Metroplex and the United States as a musical director and actor. Locally Mark has directed/musical directed/conducted at Water Tower Theater, Dallas Theater Center, Uptown Players, Plano Repertory Theater, Lyric Stage, Labyrinth Theater, Collin Theater Center, Our Productions/ Theatre FMPAT, PFamily Arts and Theater Arlington. Mark Has received numerous Column Awards and Leon Rabin Awards and nominations. In addition to musical directing/acting, Mark plays piano for the weekly Cabaret show “Mamaʼs Party”, teaches musical theater at KD College and Collin College, maintains a private studio and is an artist. Additionally, Mark is the President and co-founder of Dallas Young Artists. Mark received his Bachelors in Music from Hardin-Simmons University.
Alex Davison (Choreographer) is a YATP alum and so excited to be back where it all started as a resident choreographer, faculty & board member! Previous choreography credits include The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (YATP), Spamalot (University of North Texas), Big Fish (Rockwall High School), and Christmas Wonders, Christmas Stars (Theatre Frisco). Previous stage credits include How I Became a Pirate (Dallas Children's Theater), West Side Story (Garland Summer Musicals), and The Boy From Oz (Uptown Players). Alex holds a Bachelor's of Music in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is OPTC's recipient of the Greater Lewisville Arts Association's 2023 Angel Award.
Scott Kirkham (Technical Diretor/Scenic & Prop Design) serves as Executive Producer and Production Designer for Our Productions Theatre Co. He holds an M.F.A. in Scenic Design from Florida State University’s School of Theatre and a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Texas A&M University. In the daytime, he works as the Technical Director for the Noble Family Performing Arts Center at Parish Episcopal School. A Dallas native, Scott’s career has taken him to Florida, Ohio, New York, California, and back to Dallas. An award winning designer, his favorite shows in Dallas include Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show, Plano Repertory Theatre; Pump Boys and Dinettes, Contemporary Theater of Dallas; Macbeth, Bucket Productions, One Flew Over the Coocoo's Nest, Damn Yankees, Irving Community Theatre; Rehearsal for Murder, Another Murder, Another Show, Pegasus Theatre, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Adventures in Love, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Art, Project Youth, Peter Pan, Greater Tuna/Red, White and Tuna, God of Carnage, Ordinary Days, Into the Woods, Our Productions Theatre Co. Scott is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. He was the OPTC's recipient of the Greater Lewisville Arts Association's 2022 Angel Award. He is father of two, husband of one, and human to three shelter dogs, 6 chickens and one cat. (if looking for a pet, please consider a shelter animal first).
Sydney Han (Production Stage Manager) is a YATP alum with performance credits including Into the Woods (The Witch) and CATS (Grizabella). She also has worked crew from lighting to sound as a YATP intern. She is so excited to be back helping out for this amazing show after being Production Stage Manager for last year's You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown and The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical! She found her love for theatre through performing, but she loves going behind the scenes to put on a great show using her excellent management skills!
